With the specific goal to improve student attendance and engagement, staff at Cherbourg State School undertook a whole school visioning process that focused on high expectations. This process was extremely powerful and resulted in the development and adoption of the whole school vision statement for Cherbourg State School - 'At Cherbourg SS we honour the past, live in the present and prepare for the future by being: Strong in our hearts, Smart in our minds, and Safe and nuturing.
